Welcoming Our New Water Quality Interns

The three Idaho Power Company sponsored interns have been hard at work this summer collecting water quality and flow data across the basin. These data will complement our current water quality data collection efforts and will also improve our understanding of flow conditions on Pine Creek. BLM, Wallowa-Whitman National Forest, and DEQ have partnered on this project. We received more qualified applications for these positions than we can fund, indicating a real need for summer field experiences to support the development of the next generation of natural resource professionals.
