The Council's mission is "to facilitate community-supported maintenance and restoration of the streams, rivers, and lakes within our watersheds".

We work with representatives from local, regional, state, federal and private interest groups including: Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife, Idaho Power Company, US Forest Service, Oregon Water Enhancement Board, US Fish and Wildlife Service, Halfway City Council, Oregon Water Resource Department, Bureau of Land Management, Baker County Sage-grouse Local Implementation Team, Baker County, and local landowners.
The Council's success depends on participation from a diversity of interests that fully represent
our local communities.
